Triage, by a partner.

A partner reads the introduction within two business days, runs a conflicts check against the disclosure provided, and confirms whether the firm is in a position to act. If we cannot act, we say so briefly, and where possible refer you on.

Partner allocation.

If the firm is in a position to act, the matter is allocated to the partner who would lead it inside the firm. The triage partner remains accountable for the introduction; the lead partner becomes the partner the matter is held under.

A short conversation, in person or by phone. The conversation is held without obligation on either side. An engagement letter follows only where both the firm and the prospective client are agreed that the firm is the right counsel for the matter.
