Onyxarro Client Portal.

The challenge.

Most agencies stop at the marketing site. The portfolio shows landing pages, ecommerce, blog templates — and then a buyer asks "can you also build the dashboard our clients log into?" and the answer becomes vague.

Onyxarro built the studio's own internal client portal as the answer. Same design tokens as the marketing site, same dark-first system, but with the discipline of a real product surface — sidebar navigation, primary work canvas, contextual right rail, modal flows.

Strategy.

Build on the same design tokens as onyxarro.css so the marketing site and the product feel like one brand. Real internal screens drive the design — invoices, project kickoffs, asset libraries — not invented dashboards. Sensitive data anonymised or replaced with generated mockups for any imagery shown publicly.

Labelled Internal Product rather than Concept Project because the portal exists, is in use, and is not for sale. The case study exists only to prove product-surface capability.

Design direction.

Key surfaces.

1. Dashboard overview — work-in-flight, recent deliveries, upcoming kickoffs.
2. Project workspace — per-client canvas with brief, deliverables, timelines, comments.
3. Asset library — handoff files, source assets, brand kits.
4. Mobile companion view — vertical layout for status checks on the go.
5. Login / onboarding — minimal, branded, no third-party widgets.

Product decisions.

• No external CTA — internal product. Linked from /work as a credibility tile, not as something to buy.
• All sensitive data replaced with placeholder values or generated mockups in any imagery shown publicly.
• Labelled "Internal Product" rather than "Concept Project" — the portal is real, in use, and not for sale.
• Built on the same design tokens as onyxarro.css so brand consistency is structural, not cosmetic.
